New pipework for a room or a renovation

I can run new water and heating pipes, replace existing sections and move connections to suit your layout. A clear plan at the start makes a big difference, especially before floors go down or kitchen units are fitted.

Send me the layout and photos of the current pipework. Mark where you want the new connections, and tell me what will already be opened up when I arrive.

Can the pipes go inside the wall?

Where the wall and route are suitable, pipe chasing creates a channel for the new run. It can give a cleaner finish around radiators or in a renovated room.

I’ll check the wall, other services and the proposed route first. Some situations need another approach or advice on the building structure. We’ll agree the practical option before cutting anything.

What about the mess and making good?

Chasing creates dust and involves opening the surface. Clear access helps, and we’ll discuss protection and which rooms are affected before the visit.

The quote should make the finishing clear: pipe installation, closing channels, plastering, painting and tiling are separate stages. I’ll state which parts I am doing so you can plan any follow-on work.

Which pipes do you use?

The material and pipe size depend on the job, the existing system and where the run is going. I’ll choose suitable pipework and fittings for the installation and explain the choice if you’d like to know more.

If you’re supplying materials, check them with me before ordering. That helps avoid the wrong fittings, connection sizes or quantities holding up the job.

What does it cost?

My first hour is €135 incl. BTW including call-out, followed by €95 incl. BTW per hour, plus materials. Access and making good can affect the work more than the length of pipe.

Photos and a room plan let me give you an initial idea of the scope. For a bigger renovation, I’ll assess the full job and agree the approach and pricing before you book.

Let’s plan the connections

Send me your photos or plan on WhatsApp, along with your postcode and the dates you’re working towards. If the job also involves radiators or a boiler installation, include those so I can plan it together.

Common questions

Yes. Send me the plan and the current and proposed connection positions, ideally before the kitchen is fitted.

Where the wall and route are suitable. I assess the construction, access and other services first, then explain the options.

The quote will say which making-good work is included. Plastering, painting and tiling need to be agreed separately so the finish is clear.

Your postcode, room plan, photos of the existing pipes, proposed connection positions and details of any floors or walls that will be open.
